Welcome, Y'all!

San Antonio Grew Bigger Than Everyone Else Last Year

SAN ANTONIO - MARCH 5: Visitors walk around outside of the Alamo the night before the 168th Anniversary of the 1836 Fall of the Alamo March 5, 2004 in San Antonio, Texas.

Last year, San Antonio welcomed more new residents than any other city in the country. Around 22,000 new people now call the Alamo City home, that’s about 60 new Texans a day!

If you’re new to town, welcome! A few things to remember...

*We love the Spurs! Even when times are tough we love ‘em.

*You will find the BEST tacos in the country in SA. Austin tries to claim the title but you will quickly learn San Antonio is home of the taco.

*There’s free furniture along the side of the road. From couches and chairs to mattresses and box springs. Don’t risk your life for something that fell off someone else’s truck when they moved to town.

*Spring brings wildflowers, bluebonnets, sunflowers, and so many others I can’t name. They’re beautiful to see. Again, don’t risk your life by running across the highway just for a picture.
