Taylor Swift, Vanessa & Nick Lachey, Nick Cannon & Kevin Hart, George Michael

Taylor Swift flew to Missouri to surprise a 96 year old WWII veteran named Cyrus Porter, who expressed his fandom on a local news station:

"I've been to two concerts. Memphis and St Louis. Look what she does...she puts on a show no one else puts on...I just liked the way she did stuff."  E! Online

The family does not know who exactly set up the appearance, but were thrilled for Cyrus, especially since his daughter recently passed away. Check out the video that one of his family members posted!

Vanessa and Nick Lachey just welcomed their third baby on Christmas Eve! They had a son and named him "Phoenix."

Nick Cannon had to spend Christmas in the hospital to deal with Lupus complications, but he had some A-lister friends like Kevin Hart stopping by to cheer him up!

News broke on Christmas day that George Michael had passed away "peacefully at home" and many celebrities have come forward with touching tributes. Elton John shared a photo and wrote:

"I am in deep shock. I have lost a beloved friend - the kindest, most generous soul and a brilliant artist. My heart goes out to his family, friends and all of his fans."  Facebook

Sarah Michelle Gellar MEANT well, but probably gave some people some much-needed laughs when she posted a touching tribute to BOY GEORGE (who is alive and well), instead of George Michael.

"'Do you really want to hurt me? I guess you do 2016 - #ripboygeorge I was truly one of your biggest fans,"
