Protesters are calling for a boycott of the movie "A Dog's Purpose," after TMZ released video of a dog on set being forced to work while in distress. In the video, you can see a handler forcing a German Shepherd into churning water, while the dog tries desperately to cling to the pool's edge. The dog is eventually submerged. It's not clear whether or not the dog going under was scripted. Afterwards, someone yells "cut it!" and trainers swoop in.
Alanis Morissette's former business manager Jonathan Todd Schwartz just admitted to stealing nearly $5 million from her. In total, he apparently embezzled nearly $7 million from celebrities. In addition to Alanis, he also worked with Mariah Carey and Beyoncé. His plea deal calls for 4-6 years in prison, but the judge COULD sentence him to up to 23 years. ABC
